A new school year

Today is the first day back to school for many kids.

My husband was 10 levels of hyper last night as he was preparing for his first week with his kids πŸ˜‰ I’ve thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the “first day of school” pictures that have been in my facebook news feed this morning.

For us, school started 2 weeks ago, we’ve only finished one week of work though πŸ˜‰ We spent lots of time helping daddy get his classroom ready.

We’ve taken things slowly, adjusting our schedule, and figuring out the best way for our school day to run. Right now, it looks like we will do the bulk of our work in the morning. My kids have been morning people since they were in the womb. My husband and I used to be morning people (we even had our wedding at 10 in the morning!) – then we had kids πŸ˜‰

My precious husband got to enjoy starting our homeschool year with us

We enjoy story time together every night.
Right now we are reading

We’ve really enjoyed our first week in Little Hearts for His Glory!

Little brother enjoys doing “school” too πŸ˜€

Our new schoolΒ  year is getting off to a great start. I cannot express how thankful I am for the opportunity to stay home with these great blessings!

We even went on a field trip on the second day of school πŸ˜‰

So, this has been our first week – I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year has for us.
